An apartment a little smaller than the others, ideal to accommodate one or two people.

It is more secluded and has a nice terrace and windows overlooking the garden and for this reason I will call it "Nest house" - the nest house, intended as a shelter, a nest where you can get away and be quiet and maybe connected with the way through the network, why not?

That's what we did for the restoration:

The cherry wood beams and the decorations below have been restored with the conservative method, the same has been done for the paint of the walls, strictly based on natural lime, practically equal to the original color.

The traditional paint, is just a little more expensive than the others but it is beautiful, iridescent during all hours of the day, extremely breathable, anti-mold ... in short, why change?

For the furniture instead we have emptied it of grandmother's dresser, uncle's desk, grandmother's mother's bookcase and we have enriched it with a contemporary style of furniture.

It was a thoughtful choice.

The old houses of our villages are beautiful, each one has a soul, each one is different from the other, unlike the buildings all the same in the urban suburbs, but often and willingly, are full of memories, full of the past, a past that can sometimes stifle the present and the future.

Contemporary furniture design, on the other hand, is a hymn to the future. and perfectly matches traditional architecture by rediscovering and redefining spaces and corners.

We had fun choosing furniture that meets the needs of contemporary life, with an attention to materials, new generation.

The twentieth century and contemporary European interior design is beautiful, the one that starts from the Viennese school of Bauhause and evolves into Finnish and northern European architecture, has an interesting story that I really like and that's why I wanted to include it in the renovation project of this apartment.

For the kitchen, the bathroom, in our infinitesimal smallness, we wanted to reward those companies that in recent years have not chosen to relocate production, but have had the courage and strength to continue to operate in Italy.

The kitchen is Scavolini's from the Marche region and the bathroom and the ceramic furniture is from Lazio Catalan.
